Urgent please - Can i continue my stay in Canada?

Hi,

Finally, bad time pushing me to ask you this question!

Let me explain you my present situation in Canada. My WP has been expired on May 10th. There was delay in LMO applied from my Employer because of this reason i did not get chance to submit WP application before my current WP expires. So, I stopped working from May 11th and started application for new WP. With the help of LMO file number that was provided by my Employer, I have submitted my WP Restoration application in online and i got the acknowledgement back with DOC number. I know i am in a grace period of 90 days and it is going to be expired on Aug 10th (3 months). So, now my LMO , WP applications are in progress and both are in parallel processing. I think, when WP application review time reaches my LMO should be approved by that time. but i am not sure.

Question 1: Can i continue my stay in Canada after Aug 10th?
Question 2: Can i continue work now because i got the WP acknowledgement from CIC.

I afraid of my situation because of CIC officers strike. What happens if strike goes all the time? Please give me valuable suggestions now. If i stay here without work for long time until i receive my WP status, whether it is success or fail, Will it be effect on any other my future status for example if apply for PR.

I think, more people are having same status like me but i am worrying more as you know girls more sensitive. Really, I need good suggestions from respected seniors over here.

You can stay in Canada until you receive a response from CIC.

What happens if strike goes all the time? Please give me valuable suggestions now. If i stay here without work for long time until i receive my WP status, whether it is success or fail, Will it be effect on any other my future status for example if apply for PR??
