Please help us in this situation
We crossed USA border from Canada by road in a private vehicle (our own car) but forgot to carry COPR and we did not receive our PR Cards yet.
We are not aware that we should not leave Canada until we receive our PR Cards

How can we prove Canada Border Service Officer at the port of entry while returning to Canada
We have Car Ownership papers
Driving License
SIN Number
Credit Cards
Passport

Please help us me and my husband need to attend office on Monday morning.

Do you hold a US passport? If so, you can re-enter.

Otherwise you need to have your COPR, PR card or a PR Travel Document. You don't have time to get a PR Travel Document by Monday. I guess you can try driving up to the border at see what happens.

Make sure you carry your COPR next time.

No we don’t have COPR right now and no US passport
We have Indian passport came to US on Visitor Visa

Then it sounds like you have no choice but to try to re-enter Canada without the required paperwork. If you are turned away, you will need to apply for a PR Travel Document. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/index.asp

The COPR isn't actually required, as CBSA will be able to verify their status simply by swiping their passports.

Hi so I called Canada border service and they said we can cross border by just showing a confirmation email which we received from CIC (Passport Request)
I would like to update this information it might be helpful for others

Yes I was so tensed and finally I am back to Canada now
The border officer didn’t ask neither my landing paper nor my Pr card they just took our passport and verified with the data and allowed us into Canada
