Urgent - Name change and ECA WES and Annauniversity

Dear Friends,

The spelling of my name was changed after completing my Bachelor's degree. So, my name is as below,

10th, 12th, and Bachelor Degree - OLD spelling of my name.
Master's degree, passport, pan card etc - NEW spelling of my name.

Now for WES ECA, I would need to send the transcripts of both Bachelor and Master degree certificates. When I approached Anna university, they said that they cannot change the name in bachelor degree by considering Government Gazette as the proof. They ask me to change the new spelling in 10th marksheet to apply again for the name change in degree certificate. Hope this is a tedious process.

1. Can I attach the affidavit or attested copy of Government Gazette within the transcript envelope which I courier to WES?
2. While creating EE profile or submitting documents post-ITA will be impacted due to this?

Please assist me on this friends.

You should get your name corrected in 10th, 12 and Bachelors Degree.

WES can handle name changes. You just need to declare it. Ask WES.

Thanks for the reply. WES has replied as below,

"WES issues evaluation reports with the name indicated on your application. Our report will also indicate the name on the academic documents we received for each credential evaluated."

Can I proceed with the ECA report provided by WES as it is and provide an explanation on LOE (attaching government gazette) while submitting documents post ITA? Will this workout?

If anyone has an idea or gone through this kind of issue, please suggest me.
