Hi
I am confused about my temporary resident visa expiration date. I know that if the officer does not specify an expiration date on the stamp in my passport, the expiration date is generally the six months after the date on the stamp. However, I am confoused that the date on the stamp that I am allowed to enter Canada is April 6, 2010, so which date exactly is six month after April 6, 2010? Is October 6th, 2010, October 5th, 2010, or September 29, 2010? I know it sounds a stupid question, but I just wanna make sure that I apply extension correctly.
Another question, is a Guarantor's letter a MUST to subbmit with my extension application? Or a bank statement and an return air ticket are enough? If I must subbmit a guarantor's letter, what information should I included in the letter? Can my friend be my guarantor? Should I bring my guarantor's letter to notary public for authendication?
Thanks
