We have been in process to get my husband to Canada since June. He is now required to get his medical exam within 30 days.

He has chosen to go to St Lukes Extension Clinic (slec) in Ermita Manila.

We understand that the initial medical exam costs just under 8000 pesos. He will be paying for that at Chinabank through direct deposit.

But my husband has many tattoos. A full arm on his left side, half arm on the right side, neck tattoo, left leg tattoo and a tattoo on his back. He also has his ears pierced.

He must travel to Ermita Manila from Batangas so he wants to be fully prepared for any additional costs.

He is wondering if there are any additional tests he must do.
And how much they will cost so he is prepared.

I am thinking that he may have to get tested for hepatitis, but again, i am not sure of the cost... or if there would be any other tests to do.

I will relay the answer back to him.

If he has not paid anything to St Luke's, would suggest to go to IOM. St Luke's will insist about getting vaccines that is not really needed (extra cost, indeed). If you really opt to go to St Luke's, I would suggest he brings proof (like baby book) that he already got MMR and other vaccines before.
