I lost my Indian passport a week ago. I applied for a replacement visa. Now I need a temporary resident visa as well as a new work permit because they were both in the passport when I lost it. I am leaving the country mid december and need these documents to be able to travel.
Do I just use the "Verification of Status (VOS) OR Replacement of An Immigration Document" form and submit that for renewal? The docuemnt only has the option of picking Work permit and "Permit to come into or Remain in Canada - Temporary Resident Permit" And doesn't have the option to apply for a renewal of a Temporary Resident Visa. Is the TRV the same as TRP? Or at least would that be the option I would pick in this form?
Also, what is the fastest way to process this? Any help would be appreciated.
