[Urgent] Is my PCC still valid, will CIC reject it after ITA? Help please .

I got this home country PCC around this March, it has no expiration dates whatever.
But I went back to my home country for 2 weeks vacation after March and come back.

Is this still valid? Or it is still valid? As my home country is not my resident place for many years, I study and work in canada for a few years.

Now if I submit this PCC after ITA, will they ask me for a new PCC when they process my file or just reject me without giving me any chance?

No, you need another. You have to get one after your last visit. Don't lie and said you didn't visit again as they will find out. You need a new PCC.

In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have spent six or more months since the age of 18. For example:

if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.
For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.

Unfortunately there are different opinions on this topic.

Some people will tell you your PCC is fine as you got it after the time you lived there.

Others will tell you it is not valid anymore as you visited that country again.

For countries in which the applicant no longer lives, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the client lived in that country.

Ultimately they want to make sure you did not commit any crime during your stay in any country. The certificate must be having a date of issue, which means you are good until that date. Now when you submit your documents for living history (whatever it is called), it will show dates you lived in that country after you got the certificate. So you would also need clearance for those days of visit.

For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before submission of the e-APR.

Same holds true for current country too, but here they have given a 6 month window before the submission. Now one can commit crime in those 6 months without it getting reflected in the clearance certificate, but in this case they can't help themselves other than reducing the window.

I think it is safe to get a new certificate, but people with similar experiences as you can guide you better.

Whether you need one or not depends on how CIC interprets the language of 'live' vs 'visit'. You can argue either way.
Smart answer is get one if it is not too much of a trouble.

Yes... You need to apply for a NEW PCC ASAP as you have travelled to your home country after your PCC was issued to you while you were out of your home country !

It's too hard and too much trouble to get a PCC.

Is it ok though to go after ITA to your home country from your country of residence to apply for PCC? Wouldn't this PCC also have issue date prior to your last exit date (the date you'll come back to your home country)?
