URGENT: Is IELTS compulsory for study permit application from India?

Hello,

I have been accepted in the University of British Columbia(UBC), Vancouver for Sept'14 intake.

I had taken TOEFL and have not taken IELTS.

I am planning to apply for study permit in June'14 (from Hyderabad VFS). So I had this query about English language proficiency test requirement.

The UBC accepted me on the basis of TOEFL score. Somebody please help me if I need to take IELTS too for getting study permit if applying from India or the TOEFL score is enough?

IELTS is not compulsory (only recommended) for 'general' & 'university' category. TOEFL is also accepted.
