Guys my friend finally got the invitation yesterday, however now he GOT a big issue.
His wife has 2 years of Canadian Experience, well she HAD. The company that she worked for got bankrupt and her former boss moved from Canada to another country and he will not provide any doc to support their application.
They have 455 points, however, with this bad news they will lose 7 points (spouse 2 years work experience).
They were wondering if she writes the CEPLIP/IELTS to get the extra points.
Can they take out her Canadian work experience, and put the Celpip points?
Is it allow to do this kind of swap?
Thank you.

Generally no changes are allowed once you get ITA based on a particular profile. Pls try and raise a CSE and see what IRCC recommends in this case.

Any results (IELTS, CELPIP, WES) after the date of the ITA will not be considered by the IRCC officer while assessing your eligibility. Your friend's two options are:
1- Get a former colleague to write the experience letter on a plain paper with some evidence that this colleague used to work for that company such as an ID. In addition, upload offer letters, pay stubs, IDs, etc.
2- Decline the invitation and remove this work experience and wait for the coming draws.
Good Luck!

I agree with noscaf2014 - they have two options -

1) Do the best they can to document the work experience. A lot of people have difficulty obtaining the all-important letter, but IRCC does frequently accept alternative documentation. Not easy, but do-able.

2) Decline the ITA, take the IELTS, and hope for another ITA.

RE alternative documentation

- Letter of explanation, along with documentation/evidence of the company's bankruptcy, former boss's relocation out of Canada, and refusal to provide letter. Key point - it is not enough to just say "I can't get the letter of reference because..." but the explanation has to be supported by other documents (emails, news story, etc.)
- Solid supporting documentation (T4; NOA; Record of Employment (ROE) or paystubs)
- This is the difficult part - alternative proof of job duties/responsibilities - could include as many of the following as possible: letter of employment/contract, written job description, letter written by former colleague or customer/client.

if they did not have pr and worked in canada they should have been on a work permit
if the work permit had any noc code, that could also be evidence to associate that period with that noc code
