Urgent information required

hi everyone,

I am on an open work permit and working as a supervisor at a restaurant. It is a seasonal restaurant and opens back in august.

I would be applying for my PR status in December. My question is if I apply for my employment insurance right now, will it affect my PR status ?

I am asking this on behalf of my wife.
