Urgent information required on medicals for work permit.

Hi all,
I am Sara , applied for spouse open work permit from Canada.Now VO sent a request for medical. Is it a positive sign for approval?
As to set medicals fast we booked the earliest appointment with doctor Richard chan from Toronto.
Any one has experience with dr Richard Chan ,please help with your feedback.
