Urgent: Incorrect "field of study" in study permit and application

Hello! I am an international student currently in Canada. Apparantly I had made a mistake on my visa application form and put the wrong "field of study". However, my admission letter and study plan contained the correct field of study. My application was approved and I received my study permit at the airport, but the field of study is incorrect on my study permit. That's how I realized I made a mistake on the form.

Do you think I'd be in trouble for that? It was an honest mistake, and all my other documents pointed to the actual degree program. What do you think I can do? I'd be thankful for your help as I am really stressed about it.

Hey, I am going through the same situation, just wanted to ask if you changed your field of study or you didn't?

I am not sure if I should change it or not, can you please let me know.

is admission letter and study plan the same thing?, my letter of acceptance doesn't have any information about field of study

i have the same issue, my field of study shouldbe science applied but it is "others"

Admission letter means letter of acceptance, study plan means statement of purpose. My admission letter states that it is a marketing course, hence the field of study on my study visa should be business commerce but it is hospitality/tourism.

if you are having the same issue, did you tried to change it or are you going to let it be like that?

i don't think it will affect us in the future while applying for pr, but i am seeking further assistance regarding this issue, one of my friend told me that you ca use the below form to change eroors in study permit

It doesn’t exactly states the field of study, its just the program name. And that program comes under certain field of study, that you can check from the immigration website.

it would be really helpfull if you mention the way to check it
