[URGENT] How to provide Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter?

I'm currently a university student that's going to visit Canada in March of 2017 for an academic event that last about a week long.
I need some help on filling my online application for the Visa,

1, Should I list my main purpose to visit as "Others" or "Tourism"?
By selecting "Others," I can upload an invitation letter provided by the host of the event.

2, What's the proper Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter?
Would a letter from my father enclose with the bank statement of past four months suffice?

3, What's the proper Proof of Means of Financial Support?
Since I'm financially supported by my father, do I use the same proof letter as above, or do I still has to provide my bank statement?

Where did you get this requirement? Did you generate a checklist? You are a minor?

You need money in your account. Your father's money its his, not yours, so that doesn't work.

If he supports you then CIC would expect to see the money in your account, so you can have it at your disposal.

Yes, I apply it on website, after going through the questionnaire about it gave me a checklist,
I'm coming for only a week, how much should i have in the account?
I'm also having some assets in investment, does that helps?
