Hello, to all the seniors and pro members..

Am just confused as to how much should be the hourly rate for a Book Keepers job in order to apply for Permanent Residence of Canada under CEC class???

Some immigration agent told me it should be atleast 18-20 CAD an hour in order to qualify for PR with 52 weeks work experience under CEC class..that means an annual salary of around 40-42 K..but for past 4 months i have been working @ 13 CAD an hour..Do i need to look for a job which pays me around 18-20 CAD than??My work experience would not be counted for PR under CEC class as per my current job..

Another query..i worked in Toronto in an accounting firm for 2 months, than had to go to my home country to get married..came back after 4 months and resumed my job with the same employer..i was told the gap of 4 months is not acceptable to CIC officials, when i happen to file for PR under CEC class..From April till july, my continuous work experience is for 4 months...the agent told me i should not count the 2 months i have worked before going to my home country..52 weeks has to be continuous..no breaks in between..is that true??so does that means my work experience will be counted from April 2011 only..and please let me know if i need to look for a job which pays me more around 18-20 CAD in order to qualify for PR under CEC class..would that mean i have to start over again with a new job..i would need to start everything afresh..

Seniors and Pro's please enlighten me with the accurate knowledge..

Thanks..

In consecutive three years, you should work for 52 weeks as a full time employee
