Hello All,

I am currently on Work Permit since Dec 2013 in Canada and that expires in Dec 2016. I have applied for PR but that's still in progress. That being said, i'd like to apply for a visitor visa for my parents while i'm on still work permit status. I have few questions around this area:
a) Can I apply online on their behalf from Canada by uploading all the necessary documents. They aren't tech-savvy!
b) If the answer to the above question is yes, do I need to do anything special while filling out the application i.e. as if my parents are using a representative to fill the application online on their behalf?

Hope my questions aren't too naive. If yes, kindly pardon my ignorance. Thanks for any help in advance!

Cheers..

you can act as a representative on behalf of your parents and apply and there's no such special things you need to do, many people's do that way coz their parents aren't tech expert like yours and it costs money to hire a real representative...

Many thanks for your response. Can I interpret your message as 'No need to fill the Use of Representative form'?

You need to fill it but declare yourself as an unpaid representative/family member, especially if you want to receive communication from CIC directly.
