Hi guys,

I have applied visitor extension on May 12, 2014 before my visitor record expired (May 14, 2014).

Today I received the refusal letter of my extension that signed date is Jun 15, 2014.

My girlfriend is a student in Toronto who has valid study permit.
I come to Canada with her from Aug 19, 2013 and live together always. We have joint bank account and joint mobile bill.
So now I want to declare common-law with my girlfriend then apply for restoration my status through spouse work permit.
My question is:
Because common-law must continue live together 1 year, so I want to wait to Aug 20, 2014 then we can declare common-law.

And According the rules, I must apply restoration in 90 days.
How to count the 90 days?
By CIC Website:
-------------------------------------------------
Requirement details

90 Days

Clients who have been refused an extension to their temporary resident status, and were in status (including implied status) until the refusal, have 90 days from the date of the refusal notice to apply for a restoration, if otherwise eligible.

Clients who submit an application to renew their status after it has expired, but within the 90-day restoration period, will receive a notice from CPC Vegreville warning them to apply for restoration. Clients will have 90 days from the date their status expired to submit their restoration application and corresponding fee.

So should I apply restoration before Sept. 15 OR Aug. 14?

Anyone can give me some advise?

Thanks a lot
