Urgent help required regarding marital status

Hi All,

I was married two years ago and now got divorce from my wife.

The problem is I have already applied for Express Entry with marital status as divorced and my ex-wife has applied for appeal in High court against this divorce.

The case is on going.

What should my new status.Do i need to turn into married? I am afraid whether CIC will consider this as mis-interpretation of detail.

I am not an expert, but what was your status when you applied? If divorced at that time you should say so. If your status changes the. You must let CIC know. Just because your wife had made a court petition that should not change your status until the court makes a ruling.
