URGENT HELP REGARDING LETTER OF INTRO

HELLO EVERYONE ,
I APPLIED FOR MY STUDY PERMIT ON 15TH MAY 2014 VIA ABU DHABI VISA OFFICE AND RECEIVED MY STAMPED TRV ON 16TH JULY 2014. BUT I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY LETTER OF INTRODUCTION OR POINT OF ENTRY INTRODUCTION LETTER . IS THIS A USUAL CASE ? WILL IT BE AN ISSUE IF I ENTER CANADA WITHOUT THE ABOVE SAID LETTER . I PLAN TO TRAVEL ON 27TH AUGUST 2014 SO WILL I RECEIVE THIS LETTER BEFORE 27TH AUGUST ? ( I HAVE CONTACTED THE VISA OFFICE MY EMAIL UT HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A REPLY). HOPE FOR ALL THE VALUABLE HELP .

That's odd. Usually the LOI comes with the stamped passport, both kept in an envelope. Didn't you receive any email from the embassy with an attached pdf document. And did you submit your passport together with the application and was couriered back to you?

I didnt receive any pdf via email . I applied online for the visa process . I was requested to send my passport and I did . It was also returned to me but the envelope had no other document except for my passport . But there was some kind of sticker stuck to my passport . Is that it !?

Let me add that I sent my passport to the Abu DHabi visa office via the VAC in Abudhabi .

Have you checked your MyCIC account? It should be posted there. The sticker in your passport is your TRV. LOI is a separate sheet of paper, where your Document Number for the Study Permit is written. Try calling VFS (VAC) and tell them about your case. They're the ones who can probably help you at this time while waiting for a reply from the Embassy.

I checked the messages section in my cic account but it isnt there ... I contacted the vfs via email and they replied that they cannot do anything and the embassy is responsible for these matters :'(

Are you in Abu Dhabi or another emirate/country? Because I guess it'll be easier for you to get an answer if you visit the embassy directly and ask one of the people there. They're only open to public every Monday and Wednesday, 9:30am to 11am. You might wanna check it out.. or wait for a feedback through email.

I guess they should because that's where your Study Permit's document number is written.

Did you ask VFS if LOI is a very important document for entry in Canada?

Then if that's what they said, it should be fine. The immigration officer should have a record of your file anyway. But still wait for the embassy's reply to make sure

Yeah, because I went to the embassy to submit my passport and was asked to come back after a few hours. I got my passport and LOI in an envelope.
