#URGENT HELP!! Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) - Eligibility assessment

Dear members,

Hope you are having a good day. I am very new to this forum as well as Canada and its permit policies. Hence I have few personal queries which I am hoping that you would be able to solve for me.

Few Details:-

• I have an acceptance letter from Conestoga college, Doon.
• The program duration is listed as 2 years but the start and end dates of the program are from 07 May 2018 to 16 Aug 2019, which only adds up to 1 year, 3 months and 10 days.
• I have a 3 year bachelors in computer application and a combined 3.8 years of work exp in development and marketing from India.

So my question is as follows:-

1. Will I receive a PGWP of upto 3 years after the completion of this course ? I am doubtful because even though the course is enlisted everywhere as a 2 year course and has 4 semesters, the actual duration between the start date and end date of this program only adds up to 15 months.

Kindly let me know the answer if you are very sure of it. Did you or anyone else you know take up courses of a similar duration structure and still get upto 3 year stayback ?
