If you're applying within Canada and your employer is currently in Canada, No no need to show 12K. But you need to provide employment letter, salary proof, bank statement for last 6 months (any amount if fine), tax invoice.

I have just started the job one month back(annual wages 50,000cad).
My spouse is working too.
So its not advisable to apply just with one or two monthly PAY SLIPS.
