Urgent help pleaseeeeee!

Hi all,
I am accrpted for a short term english program at red river college and intend to take admission after completion of this course.All of my tuition fee is required to pay prior to start date(28th of August).I would apply for study permit in a couple of weeks.My question is that how much funds should i show for a 4 month programe for me and my husband and son.please help i have posted earlier but no one respond me..

For courses less than 6 months you do not apply for study permit. You need to show 5000$ for living expense + Student Fees + Good financial status for showing your ties to home country

I visited CIC bro it states that if you intend to study after completion of short term course and you are accepted to a DLI for your short term programm than you can apply for study permit and could extend later.i just want to make sure that except tuition fee how much funds i need to show for a 4 month program for my,my husband and my son's expenses.
