Hi, I'm PR from Markham, Ontario, travelling Europe with my wife(also PR) right now.

Unfortunately, my wife lost her purse which carries her South Korean passport, PR card and all photo IDs(there is absolutely nothing to prove who she is as legal documentation, but she has photos of her passport and COPR).

She just got temporary passport at Korean embassy in Vienna now and we are about to report this at police station nearby.

So, as I studied so far, she needs valid PR card or PRTD to go back to Canada but we are running out of time because our flight back to YYZ is on Aug 6, 2018. Applying anything will take too long and she has to send her temporary passport which has different passport number. I'm totally lost because there is too much process. Applying ETA as a visitor since she has different passport number and it's valid for 1 year? Any suggestions here please?

She cannot apply for an ETA. She doesn't qualify for one since she is a PR. If she tries, the ETA will be refused.

A new PR card will take too long to obtain.

She can try applying for a PRTD - however you're short on time and hard to say if it will be ready by the 6th. One option would be to extend her stay outside of Canada to wait for the PRTD to be ready. The other option would be to change your flights to a US destination and then to cross into Canada through a land border. She can do that without a valid PR card or PRTD. Those are her only two options.
