Seniors Need urgent help regarding the NOC selection. Its really confusing as I am not sure either to pick 1112/1111 or 1311. Below are my main job duties and I work in one of top 5 banks. Thanks for your help!.
The major activities include the following:
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for accounting and management information purposes.
• Prepare and analyze management and statutory accounting, cost and financial statements and reports.
• Prepare reports (standard and customized) that are logically presented and organized appropriate to the product/customer/delivery groups served, or in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide information for statutory reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Monthly reconciliation of the global incentive compensation accruals for all SBUs
• Co-ordinate and schedule the efficient processing of financial plans and account data within established guidelines and procedures.
• Proper reporting / recognition of forfeiture and termination events
•Preparation of process documentation including process maps and descriptions
•Provide analysis and explanation of variances and trends in reporting figures for the consideration of senior management.
• Undertakes standard analyses and provides interpretation and summary of results.
• Identifies contributing factors/problems/opportunities causing real variances and trends and proposes solutions for taking immediate corrective action.
• Perform CIRA weekly and monthly settlement with Trust Co.
• Identify inter-company breaks via the Inter-Unit Matching Tool (IMT)
• Print daily reports from the mainframe system to facilitate daily monitoring of specific account balances.
• Reconcile Suspense Branch clearing account and investigate differences
• Review late journal entries for accuracy of input and provide online approval for entries received after the 5th business day (BD).
• Prepare month-end entries for courier costs recovered, CDIC expenses, revenue transfer, CIRA and foreign exchange revaluation .
• Review account balance and provide month end sign off for specific accounts under the Head Office Account Confirmation Process
• Check and verify the Daily General Ledger Exception Report for any discrepancies.
• Process cash settlements on COINS/ABGL Bank of Canada .
Requirements:
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Knowledge of PC applications and bank applications.
• Equivalent to University completion in Accounting/Business and/or working towards an accounting designation.
• Professional judgment required to plan research and interpret results.
• Working knowledge of the GL:M on line data entry processing system and screens
• Good analytical abilities are required to analyze financial documents.
• General understanding of the bank's operations and departmental relationships to be able to provide technical and procedural guidance, and to ensure accurate statutory reporting and management information.
• Proficiency in PC applications (MS Office) and data capture
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and security standards.
• Knowledge of the relevant regulatory practices in the reporting unit.
