Hi, I’m Bedros, I’m a 17 year old dual Armenian-Syrian citizen living in Kuwait( Meaning my application would be reviews by a VO in the Abu Dhabi embassy). I just finished a semester online studying Computer Systems Technology at George Brown College on December 17, and earned 22 credit hours from a designated, and accredited Canadian learning institution. ( I studied online from my home in Kuwait)
As any international student would do, I applied for a study permit on June 23 of this year, which got refused on August 25th for the following reasons:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
my college has announced that my program’s delivery will be hybrid for the second semester, meaning, that I have to physically be in Canada to continue my studies. So, I gathered the additional proper documents to address this reason of refusal and re-applied for the second time on October 20, 2021. On December 7, 2021, I got an email stating that my application was refusedfor the same exact reason as last time.
Me and my family have:
• Paid CAD$17,000 for my full academic year tuition fee.
• Paid CAD$10,300 for my accommodation fee.
• Stated close to CAD$46,000 in our bank statements.
• Have CAD$250,000 worth of property assets.
My father is also the Founder, CEO and a 25% shareholder of a luxurious jewelry company by the name of Asdourian and Al-Huneidi W.L.L based in Kuwait.
So can anyone please advise me as to what to do? Me and my family are very lost here.
