Hi,
I'm a student from Pakistan, I applied for canadian student visa last year and got it after 3.5 month. Unfortunately it was too late for me to join the fall session at that time, so i went to Canada in the end of december for the winter session 2018, but unfortunately once again, i got very sick on the night of my flight, but after consulting a doctor i decided to catch my flight and go to canada but due to 24 hour of travelling my conditions only worsened and by the time i got to canada I had 104 fever, bleeding from my nose, heartbeat constantly over 120 and a very very bad dry cough. After spending a few more days my sickness developed in to an ear infection and i lost hearing from my left ear, i did not feel comfortable living and being alone while being alone so i decided to come back to my family in Pakistan on 10th of january 2018.
After one month of being treated in Pakistan i contacted my university to defer my admission once again, but the university refused and asked me to re-apply. from my visit i had seen that toronto was a better place for me to live and also to study so i started applying to universities in and near toronto.
Now after receiving acceptance from various institutions my question is that do i need to inform the canadian embassy in pakistan that i am going to a different university? or will i tell that at immigration?
I have no idea what to do next, if someone knows what i need to do please tell me and guide towards the next steps that need to be taken, i'll be very thankful.

I suggest you try to update new DLI number to your profile after you’ve chosen your colleagues and also ask cic about your case. You may try proceeding with the same study permit ( I’m assuming you have it valid atleast for a year). If nothing works, start a new application.

As long as your study permit is valid, its best your go back to Canada to your new DLI before informing CIC of your change in school(any move should be done within Canada). As long as your SP is valid, I don't think you will have any problem with immigration

It will be best and advisable not to work until your new program begins

your SP can only be invalid within 90days of an inactive school participation or studies
