@scylla and all senior members please help.

I need your advice, I got an email from cic that they have started processing my background and need some documents, below is the exact wording:

"Court record / Police report: Provide an original police report or court records. Please provide an explanation of the events surrounding the charge indicated on your RCMP Clearance. Also, please submit all police reports and court records associated to this charge. This must be received at this office by: 2017/10/18"

My husband was accused with assault with weapon and verbal threats. He was in an argument with one his friends which ended in a fight. The charges later were withdrawn in Jan 2015 and RCMP indicates the same thing. We have managed to get the court record from the respective court with their attestation/certified stamp on it. We tried to speak to the local police and they said the police report will take 30 days for processing. We anyhow have sent the draft and mailed the form they need for the process. I have a concern here, based on the above wording do you think just court record/ court order will suffice or we need to get an extension so that we can submit the police report as well.

Please suggest

You need to submit the police reports. I would submit the document you have now and let CIC know you're waiting for the policy reports and will submit those once they are available.

Thanks for your reply Scylla, I really appreciate it. The letter i got from CIC says " Please note that documents in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by English or French translations by certified translators. Please provide original documents when requested. Copies signed by notaries cannot be accepted."

The court record we have received is certified/attested by the court. There is a stamp on every page. If I am not wrong the documents should be good, any suggestions?

For police report, @scylla do you advice to attach the copies of emails I have from police department which states that the processing time frame is 30 days?

@scylla I need your help!

We had submitted the court records and police and police reports. Yesterday I got another letter from IRCC which states "Please submit the court disposition on the decision to withdraw charges, and court records confirming that the conditions of the peace bond has been met. This must be received at this office by: 2017/11/23"

We did speak to the court and they have provided us with the same documents we got earlier as a detailed court record. I just don't understand if the documents are exactly the same why IRCC is requesting them again with a different wording on additional doc request letter?
Any thoughts on this, your input is highly appreciated.
