Urgent Help needed

Hi i am facing a problem so please stay with me for a moment
my issue is i am currently in UK on study permit basically i am from pakistan now i got addmision in canadian university . my visa file is almost ready just 2 documents are behind in which one is police character certificate
the problem is my study permit for UK will expire on 17 ocotber 2012 so just 6 months left and one of my friend told me that to apply for
the visa of canada i have a valid UK study permit with atleast 6 month expiry on the time of application but as i told earlier to complete my file i need atleast 2 more days so on the other hand after 2 days my valid UK study permist will not be the 6 month .
so please guide me what i have to do now?
is it right that i must have 6 month valid study permit on the application date

please any kind of help will be obliged

to apply for the visa of Canada I should have a valid UK study permit with atleast 6 month expiry on the time of application.

Are you sure about this rule? Check with Canadian and British immigration website, consult and take advice atleast once regarding this rule with some good immigration lawyer , based in Canada or UK. It may be possible, there is no such rule..and you are unnecessarily panicking. And in case, if there is any rule...let your UK visa expire..you come back to Pakistan, wait for 6 months..and apply legally for next year May/Sept. intake. What's there to hurry? It's better to apply legally as per rule..with all the time for making preparations, than to apply in a hurry and make a big mistake... Hope you get my point.
