So i got my study visa for fall 2016 intake starting in september. And also i purchased my ticket for 19th june. At that time i didnt think because there isnt any date mentioned on Visa for entry. but later a friend of mine in Canada told me that you have made a mistake. You shouldnt be coming 2.5 months early, there is a risk of entry denial. And he also said that you cant work before your studies on SIN. Is it true?

Please respond to my query im in great confusion and severly tensed. I didnt think of this when purchasing the ticket. So what should i do now?

Thanks in advance

That's not a problem. Ask the travel agent to postpone your travel date. It'll require minimal fee/surcharge.
Btw when did you apply and from which country? Please share your experience regarding the process!
