URGENT HELP NEEDED - decision made

hi guys, I really need someones help with this....my status just updated to decision made and I haven't received passport request. Does this mean my application has been rejected??

We received your application for permanent residence on September 16, 2011.
We started processing your application on July 4, 2012.
Medical results have been received. (sent somewhere in Nov 2011)
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I completely understand that...what I meant was if anyone else had a similar experience...

It comes up a lot, try a search. There have been a number of cases where it means the application was either approved or rejected.

Usually, if they already have your passport, it is approved (PPR is a sign of approval anyhow). Without a PPR (but having medicals sent), there have been cases where it has been approval, rejection, and other times requests for another medical.

Without a medical, it is often a rejection, but even sometimes it has actually just been a Medical Request.

Since you already submitted your medical results, it could really go either way. I would try not to focus on it too much and keep yourself occupied - you'll drive yourself crazy otherwise. ECAS is unreliable as a guide to where your application really is.

hi,

Ur process is same as me, my file has the same thing " DECISION MADE" . I checked my status, today too mentioned as decision made , the office will contact u concerning this. this statement is there for me for nearly 2 month. but I didn't get medical yet.

So , we have to wait no other go.. call to CIC call centre....

hi, i ve been in the same situation last month, my name is Amine i applied in canadian embassy in Morocco, guess what happened after i see decision made, i get confused, stressed,,,,.....one week later i got call from the embassy saying that i got my PR and i have to send my passport for the stamps.
so inchalllah u will get ur visa too, trust me

I don't know exactly, but just hope for the best. send them enquiry, I know Seattle is kind of slow but "trying to contact them" is the only options you have.
