Urgent Help!! London CIC passport hold - visa issue

Dear All,
Pls can you help me. I have been requested by CIC canada to send original passports to issue visas. As I have leave problem, I am planning to go directly to go to London for applying visa. They adviced me that I can submit passports on thursdays only and then receive them back only after 2 Thursdays..

With your all experience pls can anyone advice if they would return the passport back after 1 week, by any request if we submit in person.. pls can any one who submitted in person share their experience. I am planning to go to London next week only for this purpose..I have only 10 days leave, so have to take all the risk and all..pls persons with this experience in London ..can u advice me pls..

Why don't you want to contact with London VO and find out directly from them what is procedure for issuing Visas? You can call them or mail...
Explain them situation and they will advice what exactly you should do and how long it will take.

1. You have 2 choices, you submit on a Thursday, pick up 2 weeks later, they won't make an exception. or you can mail them, and they are returned in 5/6 weeks.
