No you have to have the 3 pay slips or you’re going to be refused.

List of information needed is available with the application.

Hi Canuck,

My pgwp is in process and my spouse owp is expiring on nov 30. Can i apply for spouse owp extension with my pgwp processing document and Letter of explanation? Or else can i go for flagpole while my pgwp is in processing?

Do you have the 3 payslips? You definitely can’t flagpole until you get approval of the PGWP plus have 3 pay slips from NOC 0, A or B.

Yes. I have 3 payslips till now working under NOC A category and my spouse is working under NOC B category.

My wife's OWP also expires Nov 30 2019. I have yet to find any work to get those 3 payslips.

I applied for a SP extension and a OWP extension for my wife may 11th being that my permit at that time was going to expire in July.

Here's where it get's intetesting, the CIC website processing time stated 30 days, however the amazing people at the immigration office approved my permit Sept 29.

They took all that time to approve it and only extended both of our applications to nov30.
I lost 2 great job offers while waiting because the employers didnt want to risk hiring me seeing how long i was waiting for CIC to respond.

To make matters worse I had to wait another 2 weeks to get the hard copy. Standard procedure . Thankfully i was able to go to the border to get my PGWP. (Even then they wanted to give me crap saying i should have done it online.)

So now i got from now to nov 30 to get 3 pay slips. Which is impossible. So now my wife has to now leave her teachers position which she has had for almost 3 years, go on a travel visa while I continue to look for employment that qualifies under the required NOC's.

Oh and ofcourse..it gets better...with no income, no unemployment insurance (even though she worked all this time there's no payments issued for people on travel visa), or child benefit. Because they obviously stopped all benefit payments back in July once our permit expired.

So........now we have to find a way to support not only ourselves, but our little one as well as well.

I'd like to thank those wonderful people at CIC who continuing to make peoples lives easier each day.

These people are AWESOME.
