Hello All,

My parents came on visitor visa on January 16, 2017. They have multiple 10 yrs entry visa. they did immigration at Toronto airport. there is a handwritten date underneath of arrival stamp by CBSA officer. Handwritten date is not readable. I am not allowed to put link here as I am not paid member I guess..any email of senior members I can send this stamp and confirm??

if CBSA officer used same date format as arrival date format then I can read its V15JL2017 but if not then it looks like feb 15. I have just 90n days for restoration. I have 2 kids 6 yrs and 1 yr old. I really wanted my parenst to stay here plus my parents wanted to spend some time with grand kids too..

What should I do in this case? I did tried to call IRCC and call centre agent told me to contact CBSA.

I don't mind to apply for extension now but Should I apply for restoration too? any guarantee to get visa restoration and visa extension??

I am so confused and tense too..

Please help ..

Thanks
Krishna

1. It looks like they were admitted as a visitor (V) to 15 July (JL) 2017 which is the usual 6 months.

Not sure why there's a handwritten date under the arrival stamp if your parents were admitted for 6 months (which is the maximum length of stay without an extension). It's best if you contact CBSA
