URGENT - Getting a Ontario Drivers License

Hi All Please help,
I went to Ontario Service centre for the Exchange of my NJ License of 7 years to the Ontario License and they said I had to get the Abstract with the Issue date of the first License, I do have the Driver Abstract but it doesnt show the actual Issue date, please somebody send me a SAMPLE 'Driver History Inquiry' which I will ask NJ DMV to provide me.

I got this Abstract but this no where shows the Issue Date of my first License and also I have only 60 days to convert it into Canadian or else I have to start allover thats why in a hurry...

You have to get detailed drivers abstract...they call it the abstract using the microchip.I had the same issues.you have to fill in the form and mail it to nj DMV and they will send u the detailed abstract.u will not get detailed one if u do it online.

Hey thanks for the info, but the detailed abstract I received has License Term written as 4 but they are not accepting that also I have both the OLD and New licenses still, Is it possible for u to mail me a copy of the exact thing what they want, so that I can send NJ dmv a copy of it and ask them to get me the same thing, Please it wud be of a great help.

I tried all this but they want a letter from NJ DMV stating the Issue date but the letter what I have they dont want that also shows the same, thats why i wanted a copy of the approved letter so that I can ask NJ DMV to send me the same, I asked Ontario DMV guys they don't want to give me any samples

Wondered if you can get other provincial DL (such as BC License) first and then get Ontario License.

Why don't you mail the NJ and tell them you need an Abstract that shows the date of first issue you can even explain in your mail the reason you want the date to show and you might be lucky!!! Anything attempt is better than no attempt!!!
