URGENT: FBI fingerprints submission from outside the US

Hello, for those of you who submitted fingerprints to the FBI from outside the US, where did you get the fingerprinting done? If you are a resident of a first world country like Australia or the UK, your can likely get it done at your local police station. However, I live in Qatar, and am not sure where to go.

The US police certificate appears to be a very long drawn process (4+ months). I'm very concerned that if fingerprints are not done by competent technicians, the FBI could reject them, and the US police certificate could take even longer

Any advise / experiences would be much appreciated.

PMM, thanks for your reply, somehow missed it earlier. The fingerprinting services I came across in Qatar are all different branches of the Qatar police / Ministry of Interior, no private services. I did get fingerprinted at the CID (police) main branch, and will be sending to the FBI shortly. They were ok, but I did not get the feeling they were experts - hoping the FBI doesn't reject the them for quality reasons. The issue is FBI's current processing time guidance is 8-10 weeks, and further they send the results by US postal service first class mail which in my experience takes 4-6 weeks to get to Qatar.

i got mine done at a local police station within the states, as long as the finger prints are all clear, you should be fine. i got mine in about 3 and half months.

Thanks for the reassurance. Qatar police isn't the same as in the US, but my untrained eye felt it was fine
