Hi all,

I’m coming back to Canada in few days but still waiting for the BOWP (which has been approved) mailed to my Canadian address. Here is my concern-

1) Is it necessary to re-entry as a visitor first and explain the situation to the officer?
2) Should I print out the correspondence letter as a proof?
3) Do I need to change the status to worker once I have the BOWP with me?
4) Will that be a high chance to get refuse entry by the custom?

Thank you in advance!!

No, you have to tell CBSA you're worker and have an approved BOWP (they can easily find this from their computers)

2) Should I print out the correspondence letter as a proof?
It might help.

3) Do I need to change the status to worker once I have the BOWP with me?
If your current work permit hasn't expired before BOWP was approved, you are and always been a worker

4) Will that be a high chance to get refuse entry by the custom?
No, very low chance

Is that going to take longer time to get pass the primary custom check?

Thank you so much!
