URGENT!! -- Dependent Visa -- Passports Reached Delhi 2 months back

Hi Folks,

Could any one please answer to my below question.

I am on work permit in canada. Applied for my dependent visa for my 1 yr old kid and wife 2 months back.
Passports reached delhi 2 months back and VFS site was continuoulsy showing "Passports reached and under processing"
It's been 2 months tried contacting Delhi Immigration through mail as they don't give any information on the phone.
Initially they said they have not received my son's medical (1 yr old), when we sent all the proofs of medicals and courier details. They said they will send this to concerned team and after that no reply. We have been sending mails but in vain.

Could any one suggest please suggest how much time will they take to get back ?? their website shows within 2 weeks visa should be issued or rejected or additional document required. but its 2 months now and passports are still in delhi embassy without any information on the visa status.

Kijiji, send an email to the immigration office and I am sure they will reply within 2 days.

Daniel.. thanks for the reply.. I forgot to add that in my earlier mail.. I already sent couple of mails to immigration.
I got a reply saying "we will forward your mail to concerned team and wait for the contact from the immigration team". I got this reply 1 month back and am still waiting.. I feel helpless and frustrated. Do advise anything else I can do for follow up.

normall, it does not take such a long time after the embassy receive medicals from the DMP. Dont mind, but did the doctor say anything to your wife's medical is clear and there are no complications?

Yes, I already checked with the Doctor on this .. my spouse report is clear. She does not have any complications till now. Really appreciate your reply. Any other thing I need to check ? Atleast immigration should tell us reason for the delay..

If the medicals is all clear, then the passport should come back with the VISA stamped in a week. The only way you can know is to send email to CHC, new Delhi and wait for their reply, or you can try to ask your agent/employer to send out an email to CHC or call VFS.

Hi,

I am also kind of same situation. applied for my spouse dependent visa through my company in Dec Mid. Visa office requested an additional doc and we submitted it on Jan 4, 2013. There's no response after that.
Can you confirm how long it took for you to get it please? Any thing can be done based on your experience? Thanks!
