URGENT CONSULATE GENERAL OF CANADA ARE NO LONGER ACCEPT PASSPORT FOR ONLINE APP

Hi everyone,

I have apply to a study permit online, then they request my passport and following the instructions i have sent my passport with copy of the request letter to the address:
EAPP
Consulate General of Canada
Immigration Section
550 South Hope Street, 9th Floor
Los Angeles, CA 90071

now they return my passport with a letter, with the following information:
Dear Applicant

This is in reference to your on-line application for temporary residence. We are returning your passport because we no longer accept passport for online application by mail. You mus submit your passports to the VAC in turn will send passports to us for visa printing & return to you.

Some one knows where i have to send my passports address and what are the instructions to send it ??,

hello to everyone,

I have called and verify on the internet and i want to share the information so other people can know it and do not waste they time;

The Consulate of canada in USA no longer accept the passport for online application, we have to do the following when you get the request letter:

1) Get a money order, certify check bank draft, directed to CSC Consular Service Inc of a value of 34.01
2) Send the money order, certify check or bank draft to:

CSC Consular Service Inc
P.O.Box 410039
Salt Lake City, Utah 84141-0039

3) Send the following documents:
1) Passport
2) Letter of request
3) VAC consent form www csc-cvac com/en-US/selfservice/cvac_docs_forms_checklists
4) Copy of the money order or certify check
5) The returning envelope.

To the following address:

2100E Grand Avenue
El Segundo, CA 90245.


I hope this information will help some one in my same situation !!!!

Can we still submit online application or we should not submit online application when applying from USA? Can you please help?
