URGENT: confused about a little rule on Post-Grad Work Permit

First off, this is very urgent so please try to respond as much clearly and quickly as possible.

I am confused about something regard post-grad work permit. Check the following 2 websites:

The first one is the official canada's government website, the second one is from a college.

In the first website it says:

The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program issues work permits to foreign post-secondary students who wish to remain in Canada after graduation to work in their field of study.

Work permits issued by the Program can be valid either for a period of one year or less or for a period of up to two years, depending on certain criteria.

Eligibility Information

Students who wish to obtain a work permit valid for one year or less must meet the following criteria:

have studied full time for at least eight months prior to the completion of their program of study
have graduated from a public post-secondary institution, or from a private post-secondary institution approved by CIC
have received a valid job offer from an employer for a position in their field of study
have a valid study permit when applying for the work permit
other criteria may apply

This would be my case. My course is 9 months. See the bold line i enlightened? Now if you check the other website, it says the following:

Students Working In Canada Do not work without being authorized to do so. If you do, you will be in contravention of the law and may be asked to leave Canada. Citizenship & Immigration Canada recently announced a change that will allow students the opportunity to work up to three years after graduation without having to get a job offer and students are not required to get a job in their field of study. Students must not begin to work until they have received their work permit

I've been checking around other websites. Some don't mention that the job offer has to be related to the filed of study, some say it does, some say it doesn't (for instance, http://international.niagaracollege.ca/pgradwp.html)

I'm getting very confused. If i wanted to apply for a post-grad work permit as long as my course (9 months), does the job offer has to be related to my field or study or not?

Yes, that's the main website i used to gather the info i needed, and there was no mention of the case i exposed in my post, unlike other sites i've checked later.

That's what got me confused.
