URGENT! Change of Program outside Canada

Is there anyone who change study program before entering Canada and was asked to reapply?

New regulations which take effect from June 1. Failure to enroll in the university or college leads to removal from canada! Better change study program outside canada reapply if necessary! All the best!

You do not have to reapply. If you change school from outside Canada, you will need a new LOA to put off at POE.

Thank you for your reply J5M. I wrote to cic regarding my change of program and was advise to reapply for visa as my new acceptance will not match my visa and I will have problems at the port of entry in Canada.

Just get the new LOA from your new university/college and show it to immigration officer at POE and you are done.

hi!

i have also changed my course from 1-year program to 2-year program. can i face any issue at the POE when i'll show new loa to the immigration officer.
