Hello Friends,

I started working full time: July 15, 2013
NOC Code B: 2283
Applying for CEC: 22nd August, 2014

I got my PG Work Permit on June 19, 2013
I reapplied for PG Work Permit as previous one was only valid for 16 months as my course was a 2 year course. so technically I had to receive 3 years work permit,

I reapplied and got my new PG Work Permit on August 30, 2013 (Valid until June 15, 2016)

Question:

1. The Work Permit that I will submit as part of CEC check-list says Valid from August 30, 2013, but I already started working from July 15, 2013. So will they count my work from July 15 to Aug 30, 2013 under Off campus Work Permit..??

2. Do I need to explain them that my initial PG Work Permit was valid from June 19, 2013 and so on... (I do not have any soft copy or hard copy with me to prove, but I do have application number and letter from CIC to show them)

3. Does CEC Experience counts for the work done on Off Campus work permit or it only counts for hours work only on PG Work Permit,

Can you help me with your suggestions,

Thanks for the help and appreciated

(1) Yes, you can claim work done on an OCWP, provided that that was after you graduated.

(2) No explanation needed. It is quite common for applicants to claim work experience that precedes the "most recent" work permit that the document checklist requests. They can easily look in your file for any prior work permits you may have had.

(3) Again, any work done after your graduation date can be counted.
