URGENT!! can I change my visitor visa to open work permit

hi I have a visitor visa and my husband has a study permit. He will finish his program at the end of this year and then he will apply a post graduate work permit.

can I change my visitor visa to a open work permit after he gets his post graduate work permit?

Once your husband is on a PGWP, you will have to wait until he has a full time skilled or semi-skilled job before you will qualify to apply for an open work permit.
