Urgent Assistant - Job Title and NOC code -- BC PNP

Hello,

I want to apply for BC PNP under international graduates. I graduated April 2013 and now work as Junior Accountant. I am not quite sure which NOC code I should use to apply for immigration. My job duties are more closed to Group 1311 "accounting technician and bookkeepers". However, my job title seems like not falling into this category. Any suggestions or advice for my immigration case?

I don't know if it is OK for me to apply BC PNP under group 1311 with Junior Accountant title? Will this unmatched job title affect my application?

Any thoughts?

Really appreciated if someone can help me.

Thank you.

your job duties should match the NOC code, thats the most important assuming you hold an open work permit, but if you hold a closed work permit then your job title should match your duties and both should match the NOC code.
good luck :)

I am holding a post graduate work permit. Can I assume it is an open work permit?

I am a little worried about if I use "Junior Accountant" as my title and apply under group 1311. When the immigration officer reviews my files, will he/she reject my application just because my title is not listed in any NOC example titles.

Thanks for helping.

i think post-graduate work permits are open, check your work permit and if its not tied to one employer, job title and location then its open.
good luck

When BC PNP officer reviews my application, will they make decision based on job duties or job title?

As my job title is not qualified for BC PNP, but my job duties may fall into Group1311, is it possible that my application will be rejected?

Thank you.

Why don't you ask your employer to give u a letter of reference with NOC code written. As long as you have NOC within CIC standards, your application should not be disapproved.
