Hello everyone,

I got my ITA on 19th September and submitted my file on 10th October, got my AOR on 12th October and then there was no change until recently where the file is showing the below mentioned status. I had someone here it is IP2; however, can someone confirm it and why was I not in IP1?

Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.

Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Yes this is IP2, are you from a country where you need to submit biometrics? what was your status after you passed medicals for background?

I am from India and I don't think we need biometrics. There was no status update from 12th October until recently where the status of medical changed along with background in progress and that they are reviewing my eligibility.

Is it generally so fast ? Like I received AOR on 12th October and I got into IP2 so fast, i.e on 9th November, less than one month.
There could be several factors behind it.
A few which I think could be a simple travel history, all your documents must be in place. Again this is a mere speculation. There have been cases where there is no progress being reflected on the portal but the application is being processed by the agents and people get direct PPR.

Any progress in your application is always a good sign. Good luck with your application mate!

Oh thank you ! Yes, I managed to keep all the documents as they have asked. I have travelled to Canada a few times and returned way before my visa expires and such more.
