Hello Everyone,

I want urgent advice on my situation. I will be really glad if someone can advice me.

Last year, I had recieved a removal order for which I appealed and got rejected. After that, I received an exclusion order to leave Canada within 30 days. I booked my own tickets and left Canada within the given time frame.

I would be completing one year of my exclusion in the next couple of months.

My wife is in Canada right now. She has an open work permit and working as a manager at Tim’s with a pretty decent income.

My questions are -

1) should we apply for our PR together after my exclusion period completes? Or should she apply for her PR individually and sponsor me after she gets her PR?

(She has pretty strong background)

2) if we plan to apply for our PR together, can I also apply for a TRP to visit my wife during the process?

There wasn’t a problem when I applied for my parents TRP visitors last month. They have been issued a multiple entry visa for the next 10 years.

What should I do, so that I can at least get to meet my wife. Honestly, she has her work commitments. We got married last year and haven’t met each other in a while. Humble request if someone can suggest me.

1) You should apply for PR together.
2) You would apply for a TRV (not a TRP). Yes - you can apply for a TRV while PR is in process. Given your past exclusion order, it's possible you may run into issues getting the TRV approved. If the TRV is not approved, she will need to visit you while the application is in process. You will be able to come to Canada once the PR application is approved.

Thank you so much. Also, can we apply for our PR right now or only after my exclusion period is completed?

Do we require a lawyer for applying our PR? Taking my exclusion into consideration, it might create a problem in the PR process.

Secondly, my university is not showing in WES. I wanted to get my degree affiliated. However, my program was from distance education (correspondence). Kindly let me know. It will be great help.

I would wait until the exclusion period has completed. No - you don't need a lawyer.

I can't help you with WES question. However generally speaking. if your school is not recognized by WES then you won't get points for your education.
