Hi all I would seriously appreciate any advice on this thread.
So here's the situation. My study permit expires this semester, and I've applied for an extension. I'm doing my final courses this semester, however I'm not sure about one of my courses (whether I'll pass it or not).
In order to register for the course next semester, I have to pay a huge non-refundable deposit. Which means if I do pass it, then that entire money would be a waste. Also I've heard that if you extend your study permit and go part time in the last semester, then you will not be eligible for a PGWP. I know in most cases, going part time in the last semester is okay, but specifically if you extend your study permit AND go part time in the last semester, that is a problem.
I only have 1 day left to make the payment. What do I do?????? Should I make the payment or would it be pointless? If I am not able to pass it, can I take an authorized break from the college and complete the 1 course in the Fall semester?
