Upload Visa Stamping to confirm offer letter

Hi all,

I have applied for my student visa on Feb 15th and I have been asked to provide a visa stamping by my college before 1st March to reserve my acceptance letter.
I have asked to provide grace time., however I've received a reply stating they cannot guarantee to hold my seat.
Is this common? Is there anyone facing this situation. Can anyone with this experience let me know what can be done.

Very common. Colleges and universities must fill the seats if there are applicants who have approved study permits or qualified domestic students. Schools cannot hold a seat for you. An empty seat means less money for the school and program. If there are many people on the waitlist, then the school will fill the seat. So if school has given you the deadline, you may want to defer to another session or select another program with no waitlist.

Email your college and ask them. If they said they need to see the stamped visa to confirm, then you need to show it. Ask them what the deadline for deferral is and proceed accordingly.
