Hi All,

I am PR of Canada , planning to get married at this year end.
The following is my query:-

I plan to get her upfront medicals and PCC around 10 days before marriage (as we have tight schedules) and would apply for sponsorship visa within 1 month of marriage is that OK? Is the PCC & Medical done before marriage accepted for spousal application? According to me PPC & medical is valid for 1 year and it should not be a problem if done before marriage. Please confirm.

Also, do we need to mention anywhere about marital status when we do PCC or upfront medicals cause if yes than I think this may have an impact if done before marriage.. Please clear my doubts.

Thank You.

yes, you can get the medical and pcc done before you get married, it will not affect your application. keep in mind the medical is valid for 1 year and the PCC is valid for 6 months (assuming you haven't left that country and don't intend to return before the application is approved), so you will want to make sure to send in your application close to when you get them.
