Upfront medical exam

Hi,

I completed my upfront medical exam today and was given an e-Medical information sheet with my UMI barcode and number. The instructions on the paper also state that I ought to "attach this letter to [my] visa application before submitting the form to CIC". I get that I'm supposed to submit the scanned paper with my online application; however, on my checklist there is no part that says "Proof of Medical Exam" or anything like that, so I'm not sure where exactly should I "attach this letter"? Should I include it in the Optional "Letter of Explanation" field or what?

From which country you have applied ?
If you are not from the desginated country or have not been there for atleast 6 months as mentioned in CIC web site, you dnt need medical. Other wise you need to upload report while submitting online application.

Yes, I have definitely stayed in one of the designated countries for over six months, I'm sure of that. What baffles me is that there is no place on the checklist for me to upload the proof/confirmation/report. Should I just attach it in place of the "Request for Medical Exam" because that's the only thing I have on the checklist that concerns the med exam.

There might be question ;

Have you consulted with CIC authorized physicians within a yr ?

If you said yes ; then definitely you will see a place to upload medical report

But if you had answered no ; then might be there is no place to upload this; ensure it with these answers, yes and no .

The funny thing is that I never saw that question when I first filled out the questionnaire, but I had to go back after reading your reply and just re-answered everything and BAM that question appeared out of nowhere. I see the upload box now!
