Updating the EE Profile post receiving ITA

Hey everyone,
I have gotten stuck after receiving the ITA, I have just received the ITA and after going through the checklist I realized that the start date of work experience I showed might actually be different as the few initial months of my latest job I was not paid and the salary proof i can show will be a few months after the joining date.
1/ So, which dates should I put in the Express Entry application the date on my work experience letter from the company or the dates for which I have a salary proof?
2/ What is the best strategy to go and update my profile now ?
3/ Do I have to decline the invitation and recreate the express entry profile ?
Is there any other way to go about it ?

Any suggestions and advise will be really helpful as I heard the CIC takes about 3 to 4 weeks to respond to a query vide email and I do not have so much time to waste.

Thanks in Advance.

No need to decline ITA - you can change the date to reflect the one on your HR letter. Just make sure that you work experience points are not impacted by reducing the work ex - or your FSW eligibility. Just put a LOE to explan the change and you are good to go

Good luck!

Hey Karthik,
Thats great brother thank you!
Also, Can i remove my 6 months work experience as that was a cash in hand job and I do not have a salary proof to it but I have a work experience letter from the company.
Doing these changes will not effect my points as I have continuous full time work experience of 4.5 years even after doing all the above changes. I guess you need 3 years and above full time work experience for full 50 points.
So a little confused could you please advise?

1.if your experience letter gives all the details including the salary, then there's no need for payslip or any other proof .. they are used as supporting documents only ..so you may keep it,the six months
2.if you can edit without impacting the score which got you ITA,you may remove it also...
3.the CRS points for Experience caps out at 3 years...so if you have 3+ experience ,then it doesn't matter.
4.im not sure if it might ur eligibility (reaching 67 pts of 100)...it is very unlikely that you'll be affected by omitting the six months..
you may try entering the come to Canada tool to see if you'll remain eligible without the doubtful 6 months and if it is okay, then you can avoid it.

Hi Guys, need your suggestions on my below query:

My score is 421 and got ITA last month. In EE profile I mistakenly selected job offer as YES but however due to other details in that section I was not awarded 50 pts for arranged employment, can I change the job offer to NO in eAPR in order to skip the document upload part for this section? Pls advise
