Hello,

I applied in Sept 2014 to sponsor my husband (inland application). In October 2014 he received an e-mail that his application has been received. I cannot login to check the status so I assume they technically haven't started looking at it yet.

My question is, I got a (small) raise at work, so should I give the CIC my new income info?
Plus I had a second part time job, which I quit (but it's on my sposorship application) so should I let them know as well?

The hubby says it's not important, but I disagree.

Any responses are appreciated.
Thanks

Your husband is right, it's not important.

As long as info was correct as of the time of application, that's all that matters. Or of course if CIC asks specifically for an update.
